Our Story 

When you trust Bedard Brothers Honda with all your automotive needs, you're joining one of the greatest automotive legacies in the region. That legacy began in 1954 when a young entrepreneur named Leo Bedard knew he was destined for more. Determined to pursue his entrepreneurial spirit, he found a venue to do that and serve his community by joining the automotive industry. However, that looked much different than you might imagine, with Leo kickstarting his future as a car salesman from his home garage in Adams, Massachusetts. 

Starting a used car business wasn't extraordinary, but it was for someone operating out of his home. Leo's early success is a testament to his determination and passion, with the young entrepreneur setting out to deliver a distinctly rewarding and memorable experience to his customers. He treated them like family, offering something unique by listening attentively and responding to their needs. 

Leo's customer-centric approach was the secret to his success, leading to his first expansion as he moved the dealership to Cheshire and opened his first franchise, a Saab dealership. By the 1960s and 1970s, he welcomed his sons, Ron and Brian, into the family business, later passing them the reins as they welcomed their own sons-Bill, Bret, and Steven-who proudly continue Leo's legacy at the helm of Bedard Brothers Auto Sales, Inc. today. 

Bedard Brothers Honda is one of seven dealerships that are part of Bedard Brothers Auto Sales, Inc., which employs over 100 members of the community. We're incredibly privileged to continue what Leo started in 1954, adding a modern twist by treating our customers to an exceptional experience defined by our family's values of integrity, respect, and transparency.
